Job Managers

The Job Manager is in charge of the day-to-day construction on your job and runs the crew. This person will be assigned to your job and will be there essentially every day.

Walt Kelley is originally from Southern California. He joined the Semmes Team in December 1998. He is an excellent Journeyman Carpenter with experience in all aspects of construction. Walt enjoys spending time with his daughters, playing soccer, riding his motorcycle, and taking his boat out on the lake.

Greg Harder has been in construction all his life. After joining Semmes and Company, he quickly rose to the position of Job Manager. He likes being a part of the company because of the sustainable aspect of the work and because of his co workers. When he doesn't have a hammer in his hand, he can be found on the golf course, the softball field, or spending time with his daughter.

Frank Perea is a resident of Los Osos and has been with the production team since February of 2002. He came to us with a degree in Wildlife Management and a lot of experience in construction. Frank's interest in alternative construction and his eye for detail have been a great asset to us and to our clients.

Matt Herndon is another local who came to us pretty much right out of high school several years ago. He has learned his trade quickly and now qualifies as Journeyman Carpenter. His free time will find him snowboarding the slopes of the Sierra or working on his very first, very own home.

Site Coordinator

Gary Barker is the Site Coordinator for Semmes & Co. He maintains the tools and vehicles for the company, delivers supplies and tools to the jobs, and oversees our job site recycling program. He has two beautiful daughters, runs his own professional catering business and loves to hit the surf.
