Now that we are ready to start the actual construction of your home, we have several systems to guide us. Of course, you are welcome to visit the construction site and we welcome your feedback.
- Project Meetings— Meetings are established on a regular basis. We will discuss the schedule, selections, changes, budget, and any other pertinent items. Notes are developed from each meeting for your review and comment.
- Schedules— We use a powerful scheduling program to track the construction progress and your selection status.
- Selections— Some of the many choices you will be making about your home will be made during the preconstruction phase. Selections will also be well defined in the contract itself. We will continue to track these selections in detail during the construction phase.
- Job Cost Tracking— On a regular basis, we will be providing you with the status of any change orders, allowances (items budgeted but not decided on), and the contract amount
Green Building Checklist
When we first begin working together, we will be going over our Green Building Checklist with you. This will give us many ideas as to how we can conserve resources, maximize energy efficiency, and create the healthiest indoor environment possible in your home.
